VBA & Protection

This section covers how to protect and encrypt workbooks, work with VBA projects, and sign workbooks or label them according to your organization's information protection policies.

  • Encrypt and Protect your workbook - Protect the structure of a workbook and the cells of a worksheet, and read and write encrypted, password-protected packages.
  • VBA - Create, read and write VBA projects and code modules, and sign VBA code with a code signing certificate. EPPlus does not execute VBA.
  • Digital Signatures - Add digital signatures to a workbook, including signature lines and stamps (EPPlus 8 and later).
  • Working with Sensibility Labels - Use EPPlus together with the Microsoft Information Protection SDK to read and apply sensitivity labels.
