# Charts & Drawing objects

Shapes, pictures, charts, form controls and OLE objects are drawings. They are placed on top of the worksheet and are added, read and removed through the `Drawings` property of the `ExcelWorksheet` class. In-cell pictures and sparklines are different: they are part of the cells themselves.
